My proverbial “honey do” list kept growing over time and beyond just electrical, plumbing, painting touch up and brick / paver repairs. Then in 2023 I happened to hear complementary comments about Andres and it sounded to me like he could be my one stop problem solver. After our initial meeting he subsequently went to work addressing my tasks meticulously while always cognizant of the surrounding work environment so as to minimize any collateral damage. As he progressed through the list, we added some projects I hadn’t even thought about or wasn’t even aware of that should also be addressed. He was the first person to solve a water issue appearing on the inside of a Cedar Shake garage window wall that he then referred to “his” roofer. He was even able to repair a very large and artistic bird bath in the back woods used by the neighborhood animals that I knew was going to be a challenge beyond a simple concrete repair. My wife and the animals thank him every day! As an aside, in passing, he even gave me a reference for a boat interior repair when the marina in another county that has been storing the craft couldn’t address it. You will find Andres reliable, conscientious, meticulous, very knowledgeable, extremely talented and very personable. He has a strong work ethic, listens to what you have to contribute about an issue and offers a flexible work schedule. I now have an immediate answer to satisfactorily addressing future projects that will arise. Thanks Andres!

My Kitty rudely damaged my hardwood floors. Andres came to my rescue and found a contractor, met the contractor at my house to ensure that what I needed done was going to happen properly, advised me in negotiating the contract and followed up to see that the work was done to my liking. I had made numerous phone calls and filled out a number of forms on contractors’ websites and had received no responses. As a single working woman who did not have floor refinishing on my agenda, Andres and Lakeshore Handy made the work I needed done happen—professionally and efficiently. My floors have never looked better and I am so grateful for that to Lakeshore Handy, Andres—and I suppose Kitty.

We first starting working with Andres / Lakeshore Handy in September 2022. We had just moved abroad and we hired him to make some repairs on our home and to help us get it ready for renters. Since then Andres has been indispensable. He is the primary contact for our renters for repair needs and he has been extremely responsive to them. Whatever comes up, he gets the job done - from pruning trees to fixing a sauna and everything in between. He’s also great at communicating and keeping me in the loop. Living in a different time zone, I really appreciate the extra time he takes to give me detailed explanations of the work that needs to be done, and the various options and solutions.
